The "Nowi Warszawiacy" (New Varsovians) Festival was an initiative to explore and redefine contemporary Warsaw residents' identity. Organized in 2015 by institutions such as the Białołęcki Ośrodek Kultury, Muzeum Woli (a branch of the Museum of Warsaw), the City of Warsaw, and Dom Kultury Działdowska, the festival sought to address questions like "What is Warsaw?" and "Who are the modern inhabitants of the capital?
